Evergreen Premium Faux Wood Shutters

Evergreen Faux Wood Shutters by The Shutter Workshop offer the perfect balance of classic style, modern performance and long-term reliability. Proudly made in the UK, these shutters are crafted using an advanced bonded wood material that delivers the look of painted timber with enhanced durability and moisture resistance

Designed to suit every room in the home, Evergreen faux wood shutters are an excellent choice for homeowners who want timeless window dressing without compromise.

Built for Everyday Living

Evergreen faux wood shutters are manufactured from bonded wood – a carefully engineered blend of hardwood and PVC fibres. This construction creates a dense, stable material that resists warping, swelling and cracking, even in environments with higher humidity such as kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms

Refined Finish That Lasts

Each shutter is fully painted using a water-based enamel with UV stabilisers. This ensures a smooth, consistent finish across every panel, while helping prevent discolouration or yellowing over time. The subtle 25% sheen provides a soft, contemporary look that complements both traditional and modern interiors

Clean Design with Effortless Control

Evergreen Faux Wood Shutters are supplied with a concealed tilt mechanism as standard, removing the need for visible tilt rods. This creates a cleaner aesthetic while allowing precise control of light and privacy. Multiple louvre sizes are available, allowing each installation to be tailored to the proportions of the window and the feel of the room

Responsibly Made in the UK

As part of The Shutter Workshop collection, Evergreen shutters are manufactured in the UK, helping reduce transport impact while maintaining excellent quality control. FSC-certified materials, water-based paints and predominantly recycled packaging all contribute to a more sustainable shutter solution

Colour Options to Suit Every Home

Choose from nine carefully selected standard colours, including crisp whites and modern neutral tones plus our best selling French Green. For more individual schemes, custom colour matching is also available, allowing shutters to blend seamlessly with existing décor.

Evergreen Faux Wood Shutters by The Shutter Workshop come with a five-year guarantee covering workmanship, hardware and paint finish, offering reassurance that your shutters are built to perform beautifully for years to come

Frame Key vs Hoffman Key

Frame Key

Frame Keys, also known as screwed mitres, secure shutter frames by mechanically fixing the mitred corners together with screws. This method provides a very strong and reliable joint and is well suited to larger frames or situations where additional rigidity is required. These are very common on high end shutters like our Evergreen range. Screwed mitres are a proven and robust solution, offering durability and structural integrity over time.

Hoffman Key

Hoffmann Keys are a concealed fixing method used to join shutter frames neatly and quickly. The keys are inserted into precisely machined slots at the mitred corners, locking the frame together from within. This creates a very clean finish with no visible fixings. Our Mayfair & Luxaflex shutters utilise Hoffman keys, and this is an option on our Evergreen range.

Energy Savings

Blinds and shutters are a proven way to save energy. They should be considered like other building energy efficiency measures and are typically low cost and can make a real difference.

You can lower your heating bills in the Winter

Stop your house from heating up in the Summer

How much can you save on your Energy bills?

In the winter, during the day when it is sunny, open blinds to benefit from the free energy from the sun and close them in the evening to provide extra insulation and reduce heat loss to save energy and money.

In summer, the process is reversed and closing the blinds during the day can stop heat building up in the room while opening them during the evening when the temperature is cooler allows some of the heat to escape.

New independent research by the University of Salford’s Energy House Labs has demonstrated that blinds and shutters can reduce heat loss through windows by up to 33%*.

Commissioned and funded by the British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA), the data shows that window blinds and shutters can have a significant positive impact on energy savings.
